Team Canada will take on Team Czechia for the gold medal at the World Juniors Thursday after punching their ticket to the game by beating USA 6-2 Wednesday. USA coach Rand Pecknold isn't happy with the way things went down. The Americans saw two goals pulled back due to goaltender interference in the game, something Pecknold isn't pleased with.

"I would say I'm pretty frustrated at the two disallowed goals. I'm not going to comment on officiating other than you've got 18 or 19-year-old kids in this environment and you had two taken away. That's a huge part of the game, for sure," said Pecknold following the loss.

As for what he would like to see happen with the officials, Pecknold wouldn't say.

"I'm not going to comment on the officials - the head of officials can deal with that one."

The second disallowed goal, in my opinion, is a pretty open and shut case. The puck was poked out from underneath the goaltender's pad. This goal would likely be called back in any league.

The first one, though, well there's definitely a case to be made. I feel like you could show this goal to 100 different officials separately, and you'd get a pretty even split on whether it should have counted.
