With the NHL season paused, dating back to March 12th, Penguins captain Sidney Crosby is still finding ways to do right by the city of Pittsburgh.

As announced by the Penguins organization on Monday, the three-time Stanley Cup champion has donated 100,000 meals to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.

Over the last seven weeks, the food bank has delivered over 4.2 million pounds of food to those in need, amid the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic.

Crosby spoke on his generous donation;

"I saw the people of Pittsburgh coming together to help one another and I wanted to be a part of that.

The food bank and its staff have done an amazing job providing for so many people and I am proud to partner with them during this challenging time."
