During the pre-game show on Wednesday Night Hockey on Sportsnet, insider Jeff Marek gave his thoughts on the upcoming trade deadline and listed two possible destinations for Vancouver Canucks forward Brock Boeser.

Marek mentioned that the Los Angeles Kings and Washington Capitals could be potential fits for the 25-year-old, adding that both teams are able to take on his pending $7.4 million qualifying offer he's owed this summer.

In recent days, it seems that the Canucks have shifted away from moving J.T. Miller, although it's still a possibility, to focusing on a deal featuring Brock Boeser. Other than Los Angeles and Washington being fits, DailyFaceoff's Frank Seravalli questioned in his Trade Targets article last week if the New Jersey Devils could be a suitor for Boeser.

The Burnsville (Minnesota) native has appeared in 51 games this season for the Canucks, recording 33 points (16 G, 17 A), 14 penalty minutes and is a minus-eight.
