Junior Player Suspended 25 Games for Gruesome Attack on Opposing Player

In breaking news, the WHL has announced they will be suspending a Victoria Royals player for 25 games.

The WHL has made an official statement regarding Alex Edwards and has decided to suspend him for 25 games. The lengthy suspension comes as a result of a gruesome hit from behind on Everett Silvertips defenceman Dexter Whittle.

The Victoria Royals have issued a statement in response to the suspension in full support of the punishment. They also state their hope for a full recovery for Whittle.
