Jonathan Drouin has had a stunning start to the seasonde with 6 points in his 5 first games. Number 92 scored a goal and added an assist to help the Montreal Canadiens to a 6-3 win against the St. Louis Blues Saturday night. Drouin was named the second star of the night and fans at the Bell Centre were sure to show him lots of love during a post-game interview. Drouin, in turn, clearly became emotional at the outpouring of support.
The interview was in french with Renaud Lavoie from TVA Sports. When asked what changed in his game, Drouin gave a lot of credit to the crowd. After a dismal preseason, there were rumours the Canadiens had become fed up with the effort (or lack of) from Drouin and that his name was being tossed out in potential trades. Since the start of the regular season, he looks like a completely different player.
