It appears former NHLer Mike Cammalleri is joining the broadcast panel of Hockey Night in Canada. While there's been no official announcement from the show's producers, HNIC panelist Ellliotte Friedman posted a picture on Instagram showing Cammalleri sitting next to Friedman, Ron MacLean and Kelly Hrudey, apparently getting ready for tonight's show. The caption says Cammalleri would be making his debut tonight.

Several cuts were made to Hockey Night in Canada's on-air staff over the summer so it's not necessarily surprising that they are bringing in someone new.

Cammalleri played 15 seasons in the NHL with five different teams; LA, Calgary, Montreal, New Jersey and Edmonton. He managed 642 points over 903 games, including 294 goals.
