The NHL announced late on Monday night that they have decided to postpone Tuesday's game between Philadelphia and Carolina due to COVID-19 issues with the Flyers. This brings the NHL's total of postponed games to over 100.

In a statement, the NHL said, "The National Hockey League announced today that, due to COVID-related issues affecting the Philadelphia Flyers, tomorrow night's Carolina at Philadelphia game has been postponed. The new date for the game has yet to be determined."

As of Monday, the Flyers have at least five players in the NHL COVID-19 protocol. Those players are, Claude Giroux, Travis Konecny, Travis Sanheim, Ivan Provorov and Justin Braun.

Next up for the Philadelphia Flyers will be Thursday night against the Boston Bruins, presuming the league allows that game to go ahead. Meanwhile, the Carolina Hurricanes are next in action on Thursday against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
