NHL referees aren't exactly what you would call popular these days, but then there's Wes McCauley. McCauley, who is arguably the best known referee in the entire league, has a habit of making it interesting for those watching in the stands or at home when announcing his calls.
McCauley was at it again Tuesday night while officiating a game between the San Jose Sharks and Detroit Red Wings. While calling standard fighting five-minute majors for both Jake Middleton and Givani Smith, he put a little extra mustard on the call to get the crowd into it. The video is below.
