Matvei Michkov goes on a rampage scoring five goals in one game, including a 'Michigan' goal
Matvei Michkov is making sure everyone knows who he is as he gets closer and closer to his draft eligibility in 2023. The 16-year-old went on an absolute tear in the MHL Saturday, scoring five goals in one game, helping the SKA St. Petersburg youth team defeat its opponent 10-2. One of the goals Michkov scored was a Michigan, his second lacrosse style goal in a week after getting one earlier at the Karjala Cup. Check it out:

Michkov is draft eligible at the same time as young phenom Connor Bedard, who is expected to be the first overall pick. However, if Michkov continues on his current path, you have to wonder if he doesn't take that top spot for himself.
