Mike Sullivan is reshuffling the Rangers' top six tonight in Columbus, and Taylor Raddysh is drawing into the lineup.

The move follows Thursday's 7-1 loss in New Jersey, the kind of night that makes a coach reach for the line blender.

Gabriel Perreault skates with Mika Zibanejad and Alexis Lafrenière on the top line.

Lafrenière is the one forcing the issue. All seven of his goals have come over his last five games.

Tye Kartye, J.T. Miller and Pavel Dorofeyev make up the second unit. Miller has five assists over that same stretch.

Raddysh slots onto the fourth line with Oliver Bjorkstrand and Justin Dowling. He had three goals and five points in five games with the Hartford Wolf Pack.

The 28-year-old right winger isn't new to Broadway. He scored 10 goals for the Rangers last season.

Pavel Dorofeyev keeps a second-line job despite an ugly stretch

Here's what doesn't add up. Dorofeyev went minus-7 over his last five games and still holds a top-six spot.

At an $11,000,000 cap hit, the Rangers need far more than four points through nine games.

Shuffling lines after a blowout is a bit like rearranging the furniture after the basement floods. It feels productive, but the water's still there.

Vladislav Gavrikov and Adam Fox lead the defense, with Fox piling up nine assists.

Alberts Smits rounds out the third pair with Braden Schneider. The 18-year-old is still looking for his first point.

In net, the margin for error is gone. Igor Shesterkin is out for the season with a knee injury, and Joonas Korpisalo is on injured reserve.

That leaves Dylan Garand with a .915 save percentage and a lot of weight on his shoulders.

Why does tonight matter so much? The Rangers are perfect at home but just 1-3-0 on the road.

A win in Columbus quiets the noise before Anaheim visits Monday. Another flat road night, and Sullivan's next shake-up might not stop at the lines.
