Top hockey journalist John Buccigross has come out with one heck of a proposal for Sabres fans. The team is playing out of their mind at 3-0 on the season, a start that no one saw coming, especially without star Jack Eichel.

Buccigross posted on Twitter that he would buy everyone in attendance a beer if the Sabres have a sellout crowd on Friday.

The funny thing is that Sabres fans have definitely had enough of the team's play over the past couple of seasons, as their attendance has gone down mightily. On Saturday, their attendance was 7872, which was down about 600 fans from last Thursday. Now there is definitely a reason to watch the Sabres at their home arena on Friday, as drinks on Bucci could be as enticing as ever.

The capacity of KeyBank Center is around 19,200, and a beer has to be around $8. Bucci would also probably tip at least some amount of money also. So, the minimum amount that this could all cost would be at least $155,000. That's one hell of a bill to pay to start the weekend.
