Sergei Bobrovsky stopped 40 shots in Vegas last night, and the Maple Leafs still walked out with a shootout loss.
Some Toronto fans didn't wait for the ice to get resurfaced before turning on him.
"Whatever happened to the great Cup winner, Vezina winner Sergei Bobrovsky?" the @BringBackBabs account posted Thursday night.
The same post went after the price tag, pointing to the two young goalies the fan says Toronto gave up to land the veteran. "Not looking like a great decision right now," it read.

Here's the problem with that take. Vegas threw 43 shots at the Toronto crease, and the veteran let in three while dragging a flat road team all the way to a shootout.
At the other end? The Leafs managed only 24 shots on Adin Hill, and nearly half of last night's game was spent defending.
Blaming the goalie for this one is like blaming the umbrella for a hurricane. Toronto's skaters left him standing in the rain all night.
Jim Hiller has a goalie call to make in Colorado
The fan isn't wrong about everything. Bobrovsky is still hunting his first win in a Leafs sweater, sitting at 0-2-1.
And at $7,000,000 against the cap, nobody in Toronto signed up for patience. Anthony Stolarz costs $3,750,000 and already owns both of the team's wins.
The save percentages don't settle anything: .906 for the veteran, .904 for Stolarz.
Both goalies have four appearances through five games. Nobody has grabbed this crease and refused to let go.
The bigger issue sits in front of them. Toronto has allowed 15 goals already, and the blue line has been a mess.
Darren Raddysh carries an $8,500,000 cap hit on the back end and has gone minus-3.
John Tavares is a -4 up front. Those aren't goaltending numbers.
Last night's goals came from Easton Cowan, Nick Paul and Jack Roslovic. Jack Eichel answered with a goal and an assist for Vegas.
Now comes Colorado on Saturday night. The Avalanche have scored 23 goals in four games, a +12 differential that should make any goalie nervous.
Hiller has to decide whether the guy who just stood on his head in Vegas gets the net again, or whether Stolarz gets a turn on the second stop of this road trip.
Go with Stolarz and the noise gets louder. Stick with Bobrovsky and he'd better start winning, because Utah waits on Tuesday.
The fan who posted Thursday said he hopes to eat his words. Saturday in Colorado, the goalie gets a chance to serve that meal.
