Jacob Fowler ended up flat on the ice under a pile of bodies in a clip that made the rounds Friday night, and his Laval Rocket teammates came flying in.
In the RDS clip, Fowler is down on his side by the post with his mask still on.
Poulin in No. 88 and Beck in No. 62 pile in along the boards, while a player in blue No. 14 gets tangled at the edge.
Good. A goalie ending up under a pile like that should never go unanswered, and Laval's response is exactly what a young netminder needs to see.
It's the older siblings at the playground who show up the second someone knocks over the youngest one's sandcastle. Nobody stops to ask what happened first.
Was Fowler hurt? The clip doesn't say, and no update came attached to it.
Montreal has every reason to care about how he came out of it. Nick Kypreos reported this week that the Winnipeg Jets are interested in Sam Montembeault.

Absolute chaos erupts as Jacob Fowler ends up underneath a pile of bodies
One fan account summed up the scrum with a nickname, saying the Rocket protected their gator.
According to Kypreos, the Jets want Montembeault to complete their tandem.
Montembeault, 29, carries a $3,150,000 cap hit and backed up Jakub Dobes in Montreal's opener.
Dobes, 25, started that 3-2 win in Toronto and finished with a .929 save percentage.
He's on a $965,000 cap hit, which tells you how much the Canadiens are leaning on value in net right now.
If Montembeault were moved, the depth behind Dobes would get tested quickly, and Fowler is one of the names in that picture.
Kent Hughes also has Mark Scheifele on his radar, per Kypreos, so the front office is busy on more than one front.
The Canadiens visit Pittsburgh tonight, where Sidney Crosby gets his look at Juraj Slafkovsky, before opening at home against Carolina on Tuesday.
The Rocket stood up for their goalie this time. If Montreal's crease shifts this fall, Fowler's health is going to matter a lot more than one scrum.
Is Jacob Fowler ready to step in if the Canadiens trade Sam Montembeault?
