Beginning with the upcoming 2021-22 season, there will be new rules in place for fans attending Ontario Hockey League games. The OHL, which recently announced that all players, staff, billet families and anyone else involved in the league must be fully vaccinated, has now extended that policy to fans attending games.

"This expanded policy will cover all spectators and other attendees at all OHL events, including games and practices," said the OHL in a release,

"Those wishing to gain access to OHL facilities of the 17 Ontario based teams will be required to provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 and follow any other safety protocols while in the facility. Children under the age of 12 will be required to be accompanied and supervised by a fully vaccinated adult and will be required to follow all safety protocols."

Unlike a previous announcement from the Toronto Maple Leafs, there is no provision to allow unvaccinated people to attend as long as they provide the results of a recent negative COVID-19 test. Unless you are medically unable to get the vaccine (which includes anyone under 12), you will not be able to attend without having both doses.

The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League and the Western Hockey League recently announced similar plans for players and staff, but neither has made an announcement regarding fans attendings games yet.
