It's the dog days of summer and things are pretty slow in the hockey world. Even hockey players are feeling the dullness it seems as Vegas Golden Knights goaltender Robin Lehner decided to entertain himself by asking his followers on Twitter to hit him up with questions "friendly or hostile." His request got some really good questions, which led to some very funny responses.

One of the first questions Lehner received was whether he'd like to be a member of the Toronto Maple Leafs. His response was a short one. A flat-out "no."

Technically, he was a member of the Leafs for a very short period. The trade that sent him to Vegas from Chicago included being sent to Toronto and then flipped. He said he never received a Toronto Jersey.

Asked to rank the teams he's played for outside of the Vegas Golden Knights from best to worst, Lehner put the New York Islanders in the number one spot, while Buffalo finished dead last.

As for the Golden Knights' golden helmets, Lehner is not a fan.

Lehner is very involved in the designs for his pads and helmets. Asked which one was his favourite, Lehner said he wanted to design some pads with the infamous photo of former goaltending partner Marc-Andre Fleury with a sword in his back with the name "Peter Deboer" written on it. That photo was tweeted and then deleted by Fleury's agent. Lehner said he couldn't get the clearance from Vegas.

Asked about his favourite Pierre McGuire moment, Lehner said McGuire always winks at him, which he loves.

Lehner also stated his favourite goaltender in the NHL at the moment is Andrei Vasilevskiy of the Tampa Bay Lightning. While he has several favourite current and former teammates, Mark Stone was the only one he mentioned by name. He stated he got along just fine with Evander Kane when they were teammates in Buffalo, although he didn't hang out with him that much. He doesn't think the Lightning will win three cups in a row, and said he'll miss Ryan Reaves a lot now that he's been traded out of Vegas. Asked why he was not at the Olympic team meeting in Sweden that took place earlier this week, Lehner explained he was vacationing in Morocco.
