New York Rangers captain Jacob Trouba sends a heartbreaking message following the passing of Grayson Murray in reply to Spittin Chiclets' bashing on him.
It wasn't the best showing of Jacob Trouba during the Stanley Cup Playoffs, and he knows it, however perhaps Ryan Whitney and his podcast, Spittin Chiclets have took it too far. During the clip, you see the podcaster bring up how his captaincy should be stripped and given to Vincent Trocheck while also calling out his play during the playoffs.
Jacob Trouba replied the following:
Suicide rates have doubled in the past 20 years in U.S. college athletes -

golfer tragically took his own life after a mental health battle and people asked how that was possible
We must do better than this

Fans however, took the side of the podcast by saying that Trouba is spreading an irrelevant comment as there was no death threats sent to him.
Man this is a tough one because mental health awareness and support is so important and good on you for spreading that
But doing it in the name of a podcast saying you're bad at hockey seems like such a weird and unproductive move

Rest in Peace to Grayson Murray and condolences to all his friends and family during this sad matter.
Was Jacob Trouba in the wrong for calling out Spittin Chiclets?
