The Vancouver Canucks got some crushing news today as they have lost star forward Brock Boeser ahead of game 7 against the Edmonton Oilers.

Brock Boeser has been Vancouver's best player in these playoffs, with a whopping 19 points so far, and a standout hat trick in recent memory.

Unfortunately, due to a blood clotting issue, his status is in jeopardy:

Vancouver Canucks winger Brock Boeser is expected to miss Game 7 against Edmonton with a blood clotting issue.

The exact timeline for his return is unknown, but several sources stressed this, thankfully, is not considered a life-threatening situation.

It's a big loss for the Canucks, as Boeser is having an excellent season — leading Vancouver with seven goals and 12 assists in 12 playoff games

Brock Boeser will not be available for the Canucks in game seven on Monday. If they advance, his status moving forward is unclear.

We will see what is next for Brock Boeser. Hopefully his health will return to normal.
