Bruce Boudreau breaks the silence about his future in hockey

Today former Vancouver Canucks head coach Bruce Boudreau spoke for the first time since the end of the NHL regular season about his future. He confirmed whether or not he would be interested in returning to coaching.

Bruce Boudreau has been out of the NHL for over a year now. After his firing he decided to take a step back and pursue other opportunities. This included being an advisor and staff member on his son's staff for the Niagara Ice Dogs of the OHL. He was also selected as the head coach of Team Canada for the Spengler Cup.

Bruce Boudreau has been named head coach of Canada's Spengler Cup team.




Today in a new interview Bruce Boudreau spoke about his coaching future. He confirmed his ultimate goal is to return to the NHL if he is given the opportunity to do so.

Bruce Boudreau says he is still hoping that he can get another opportunity to coach an NHL franchise.


With a ton of coaching opportunities currently open in the NHL Bruce Boudreau could get an opportunity to fill one of them. From all accounts, Bruce Boudreau is well respected around the league and would be a good fit behind the bench for many teams.
