The Toronto Maple Leafs outshot Boston in game one, but were blown out, and now they have made a decision on their net minder for game two.
Despite all of the questions that the Maple Leafs fans have of their team after game one, they're sticking strong in net, as it looks like Ilya Samsonov will be between the pipes once more.
Ilya Samsonov is doing his usual starters routine and is the projected starter for Game 2 vs Boston.
Over the past two months of the season, Samsonov had a GAA of 2.43 with a save percentage at .915, so there's certainly confidence behind him, but if he struggles once more in game two, it may be time to make a move.
Unfortunately for Toronto, their other options are a young, unproven player in Joseph Woll or veteran Martin Jones, and given the pressure of the situation, it's going to be very tough going forward if they can't bounce back and even this series at one game a piece.
