The Anaheim Ducks will be without the services of another one of their top blueliners after Thursday's announcement that Hampus Lindholm has a fractured left wrist.

Lindholm joins fellow veteran rearguard Josh Manson on the sidelines after suffering the injury during a 3-2 overtime loss to the Vegas Golden Knights on February 27th, but is expected to make a full recovery. The 27-year-old is expected to be sidelined for at least six weeks.

Ducks GM and Executive Vice President Bob Murray made the following comments regarding Lindholm's unfortunate injury.

"It's certainly a tough blow for Hampus and the team. However, we've seen some young players on the back end improve this year, and this is an opportunity for them to get more reps."

Lindholm was drafted 6th overall by the Ducks back in 2012, registering 200 points in 521 career NHL games. He has racked up 2 goals and 6 points in 18 appearances for the Ducks this season.
