This wouldn't be the first time that this particular team has gone out and signed someone that has been heavily punished by their previous leagues.
As just within this past calendar year that very same team signed Mitchell Miller to a contract after the Boston Bruins terminate Miller's contract this past July after it was found out that he bullied one of his classmates with special needs.
If this is true Carter Hart will be joining the KHL and get to play pro level hockey while he and four others await a trial for the 2018 Team Canada incident.
