Buffalo Sabres rookie Dylan Cozens made his presence felt against the New York Rangers on Tuesday when he dropped the gloves with defenseman Ryan Lindgren for his first career NHL fight - and boy, was it a good one.

After taking a bump from Lindgren behind the Rangers' net, Cozens wasted no time in absolutely throwing down, throwing bomb after bomb at Lindgren, who to his credit, did not show an ounce of quit, despite absorbing a lot of shots in the tilt.

Cozens, a 1st round pick by Buffalo in 2019 (7th overall) has suited up in 14 games this season, managing to rack up 3 goals and 4 points despite averaging just over 13 minutes per game on a Sabres team who has struggled offensively for much of the season.

Until Tuesday's tilt against the Rangers, Cozens hadn't taken so much as a single minor penalty to begin his NHL career, and while not exactly known for his fighting abilities, the rookie handled himself like a seasoned veteran.
