Pittsburgh Penguins' captain Sidney Crosby has been placed on the NHL's COVID protocol list. The team has announced he will not be available for tonight's game against the Philadelphia Flyers.

"Sid will not be available for tonight's game. He will be listed on the NHL's COVID protocol list. We didn't have a morning skate this morning due to the NHL's COVID protocol," said Pens' coach Mike Sullivan.

As far as we know right now, Crosby is the only Pittsburgh player to be placed in COVID protocol. It means he's either tested positive for the virus, or came into close contact with someone who has.
