Toronto Maple Leafs Forward Calle Jarnkrok Placed on LTIR
After a not-too-eventful trade deadline, where the Maple Leafs went out and acquired
Ilya Lyubushkin and
Joel Edmundson, the Maple Leafs seem to be dealing with an injury bug.
Calle Jarnkrok was placed on LTIR today, and there are no bonuses to him being off the cap as the Leafs can't add to their roster now. This means it is a real injury, and he will miss a minimum of four weeks. This will likely line up with a return near the playoffs.
The bottom-sixer, who signed a long-term deal worth $2.1M annually, has been efficient for the team when healthy.
