A small incident occured earlier today in the game between the Buffalo Sabres and the Detroit Red Wings, where the veteran Ben Chiarot accidentaly punched a referee.

Earlier this afternoon, Ben Chiarot got into it with Jordan Greenway from the Sabres, but a linesman, Ben O'Quinn, intervened and ended up getting hit.
