Expert Lip Reader Reveals What Tortorella Yelled At Game Officials
In the recent game between Philidelphia and Tampa Bay, Flyers coach John Tortorella made waves by arguing with officials after quickly being down 4-0. This quickly earned him an ejection.
Recently, an expert lip reader known by the name "Jomboy" took it upon himself to reveal what exact words were exchanged during the argument. To no one's surprise, this was mostly full of profanities and Tortorella's refusal to leave the bench.
Tortorella's Behavior Gets Excused By Owner
As a result of this inappropriate behavior and foul language, Tortorella received a $50k fine and a two-game suspension.
Yet, this will likely not cause him too much trouble, as owner Dan Hilferty already made it clear he would pay for this fine. Like many hockey fans, it appears he believes the officials have too much power, and this was just a case of a coach having his team's back.
The Philadelphia Flyers are currently 14th in the league overall. They are currently losing 3-1 to Toronto at the end of the second period.
