Top Blue Jackets Prospect Suspended By QMJHL

Jordan Dumais was drafted in the third round, 96th overall by the Blue Jackets in 2022. Since then he has continued to improve, turning into one of the team's top prospects. Unfortunately though, it appears as though he has been suspended five games by the QMJHL.

Jordan Dumais now showing a 5 game QMJHL suspension per the game sheet.

There has not been an official announcement yet, but there has been speculation that the forward was arrested for a DUI late last month. It is now expected that Dumais will be suspended for said DUI.

#CBJ prospect and 2023 QMJHL MVP Jordan Dumais has been suspended for an alleged DUI. Expect an official release shortly.

Dumais has 16 goals and 47 points in 21 games this season with the Halifax Mooseheads of the QMJHL.
