A few minutes ago, a major incident occured in the game between the Tampa Bay Lightning and the New York Rangers.

Alexis Lafreniere Hits Mikhail Sergachev and the Defenseman Leaves the Ice on a Stretcher In First Game Back From Injury

Sergachev, who played his first game tonight since December 21st, had to leave early after a dangerous his by Alexis Lafreniere.

The defenseman left the ice on a stretcher and didn't seem happy about it.

"Mikhail Sergachev, who was out for over a month with an injury, is being stretchered off the ice. Almost all the Lightning players are on the ice with him. Scary scene.

Alexis Lafreniere reverse hit him, but he was holding his left leg, it looked like."
