BREAKING: Full Lindholm Trade Details Revealed

The Canucks and Flames completed a major trade today as Elias Lindholm was sent to Vancouver. Now we know at least part of the return.

NHL insiders reported just moments ago that a significant part of the return going to Calgary in exchange for Lindholm is former Canucks prosect Hunter Brzustewicz.

The Flames confirmed that Brzustewicz was part of the trade tonight as they made a post with the full trade details in X.

The 19-year-old has lit up the OHL this year with 69 points in 47 games this year. He was drafted 75th overall last year by Vancouver. Many scouts believed he was worthy of a late first or early second round pick, but he fell due to concerns about how translatable his offense would be to the NHL. Some still have that concern, but with the way things have gone this season, it seems more likely that he may have been a steal.
