The Calgary Flames and Vancouver Canucks have already completed one trade this season and now it appears as though another may be coming shortly.

Elliotte Friedman reported tonight that the Canucks and Flames are in 'intensifying' talks regarding the veteran center.

Fellow insider Kevin Weeks quickly followed the report by confirming that he has heard that the Flames are working on another trade in recent days. Of course, Weekes was his usual cryptic self in the post, leaving it open to interpretation.

Lindholm has 9 goals and 32 points this season in 49 games with the Flames. Stay tuned for updates on this rapidly evolving story.
