Crushing news was announced today for a 2023 top-3 pick. Columbus Blue Jackets forward Adam Fantilli will miss 8 weeks with a leg laceration.

Fantilli's first season in the NHL has gone very well, granted on a terrible Columbus team, and this is a terrible setback.

A true bout of shocking bad luck, all three top-3 picks in this years' draft have now suffered long-term injuries.

Hopefully Fantilli will be back with conviction to finish the season.
