Ralph Krueger, head coach of the Buffalo Sabres, is not pleased with a collision that happened in Tuesday night's game between his team and the Philadelphia Flyers. In the second period of the game, Flyers defenceman Ivan Provorov ran into netminder Carter Hutton after a hit by fellow blueliner Brandon Montour. Check it out. The best angle comes at around 30 seconds into the video.

Montour clearly hit Provorov into his own goaltender, but Krueger doesn't care saying he believes Provorov knew exactly what he was doing by extending the elbow.

"If you look at the way the elbow comes extended, you know what you're doing," stated Kruger.

"It's the 4th game where a player of ours has had a violent hit to the head and hopefully there will be action for this one," Kruger added.

Hutton stayed out for the remainder of the second period, but was replaced in the third by Jonas Johansson while the Flyers had a 1-0 lead. Philly would go on to win 3-0.

"It was really disappointing in a game, the way it was going, to lose midway through the game a very, very strong Carter Hutton," Krueger said in a post-game news conference. "After that, he didn't feel the effects of the hit, actually, which can happen sometimes, until the intermission when he got in and he sat down."
