Tonight American superstar Patrick Kane has suffered a potentially significant injury in the Red Wings game against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Tonight during their game against the Maple Leafs, Red Wings forward Patrick Kane left with an injury after a collision with Pontus Holmberg.

Kane got up and skated off the ice. He would then head to the locker room. Red Wings fans were hopeful that since he skated to the bench it wasn't too serious. However, the Red Wings provided an update confirming that Kane would not return to the game.

Fans are waiting anxiously for another update. Kane recently came back from major hip surgery and fans are concerned the injury could be related. As more information is provided by the team or trusted sources we will pass it along to you.
