The Minnesota Wild are going through a rough patch at this point in the year, and fans are letting them know about it. This star has responded to the hate they are getting from fans.
Zuccarello Responds to Fans Booing the Wild Off the Ice After Loss
The Minnesota Wild started the year looking like one of the frontrunners for a potential Stanley Cup run, however, over the past 10 games that appearance has taken a complete 180. They have lost 8 of their last 9 games, slipping further and further down the standings.
Last night was no different, as the Wild suffered one of the ugliest losses of the season thus far. They dropped their match against the Arizona Coyotes 6-0, which was met with boos from the fans as the game ended.
After the game, Mats Zuccarello opened up to the media about being booed by the home fans.
Wild All Over The Place in Embarrassing Loss
Nothing seemed to go right for the Minnesota Wild last night during their loss to the Coyotes. Marc-Andre Fleury was brought in to relieve Filip Gustavsson after giving up 5 goals, and even that had its moments of looking out of place.
The Wild will need to bring their game back together quickly if they want to make a serious push in this year's post-season, otherwise, they will suffer another disappointing and anti-climactic year.
