The Florida Panthers have made it clear, defenceman Keith Yandle doesn't fit into their plans for the 2020-21 season. The 34-year-old currently has a no-movement clause on his contract, but it appears a resolution could be coming.

According to Andy Strickland of Fox Sports Midwest, The Boston Bruins, and Philadelphia Flyers have emerged as potential landing spots for the veteran defenceman. But Yandle reportedly hasn't asked for a trade, nor have the Panthers requested he waive his no-movement clause.

Yandle, 34, was drafted in the 4th round, 105th overall by the Phoenix (Arizona) Coyotes in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. He currently holds the longest iron-man streak by a defenceman in NHL history at 866 games. But if he doesn't play on Sunday for the Panthers, that streak will unfortunately come to an end.

In 976 regular season games, Yandle has put up 573 points (99 G, 474 A), 564 penalty minutes, and is a -48. In 55 career playoff games, he's tallied 34 points (6 G, 28 A), 26 penalty minutes, and is a +/-0.

Internationally, Yandle has represented the United States once in his career, which came at the 2010 IIHF World Hockey Championships. In 6 games, he had 4 points (1 G, 3 A), 0 penalty minutes, and was a -1 as the United States finished 13th after avoiding relegation.
