While he doesn't have it in his hands yet, the Vancouver Canucks have offered a sneak peak at Braden Holtby's newest mask following earlier controversy over a design including indigenous art that did not include indigenous artists.
"This beauty will debut in games soon," said the Canucks.
"For now, enjoy a sneak peek of Holtby's new mask - a collaboration between Coast Salish artist, @luke_marston_, and @daveart. Inspired by the legend of the orcas and the wolves, transforming in packs to hunt the land and in the ocean.

The original design included orcas and thunderbirds drawn in an indiginous style, which received backlash for no consultations with native artists. Pictures of the mask were later pulled from social media by Swedish designer David Gunnarsson.
