Earlier on Friday morning, the Dallas Stars announced that they were cancelling practice, but didn't give a reason as to why. Well, that question now has been answered as the National Hockey League announced that six players, and two staff members on the Stars have tested positive for COVID-19. The team has now closed their practice facility for at least the next few days, and they won't begin their 2020-21 season until January 19th at the earliest.
The games that have been postponed are: January 14th and 15th against the Florida Panthers, and January 17th against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
The NHL is currently in the process of reviewing the Dallas Stars' schedule and as mentioned, they won't begin their season on January 14th.
The six players, and two staff members are currently self-isolating and following the guidelines put in place by the CDC and National Hockey League.
