Some tense moments from a U.S. College Hockey game last night as a first-round NHL pick was stretchered off the ice after going into the boards awkwardly. Now, we have an update on his health.

Rutger McGroarty, drafted 14th overall by the Winnipeg Jets in 2022, took a nasty fall into the boards last night while playing for the University of Michigan.
McGroarty himself has since provided an update from the hospital, and it looks like he's going to be ok.

No word on how much time McGroarty might miss. The 19-year-old forward was having an excellent season so far, putting up 6 goals and 18 points in 13 games. There was no call on the play.
