When it was revealed earlier today that
Milan Lucic of the Boston Bruins had been arrested, there were very few details on what had happened. The latest report changes that.
New, Chilling Details of Lucic's Arrest
CBS News in Boston is now reporting that Lucic's wife called 9-1-1 and said her husband was allegedly hurting her. Lucic was also allegedly drunk at the time.
"Sources told the I-Team that his wife made the 911 call and told police that her husband attacked, and choked her. I-Team sources also said that he appeared to be drunk when police found him."
New Details Shed Light on Lucic's Arrest in Boston
None of the allegations have been proven in court at this time. However, if any of it is true, I'd be willing to bet you have witnessed the end of the 35-year-old's NHL career. Earlier today, Boston coach Jim Montgomery said the team was offering support and help to Lucic's family. He said he had not talked to Lucic himself since well before all of this went down.
