The Edmonton Oilers have fired head coach Jay Woodcoft. After a terrible start to the season, he has reached his final legs.

Jay Woodcroft seemed to be the coach of the future for the Oilers, bringing them lots of success last season.

Unfortunately, he has now been fired.
