Now, footage of the event has been released, and it's now safe to say the reports were accurate, as Galchenyuk was impaired and was hurling vile threats towards everyone involved, especially the officers.
Given the newly released footage, it wouldn't come as a shock if we didn't see him in the NHL for a long time, as he agreed to check into the player assistance program not long after this even before signing overseas.
Regardless, we hope that he's getting the help he needs, because this type of action is absolutely disgusting, and the officers to their credit maintained their cool and subdued the NHL veteran even in the face of these actions.
