After moving a young defenseman to San Jose, NHL Insider Elliotte Friedman has now confirmed that the Wild will be acquiring Zach Bogosian from the Tampa Bay Lightning.
According to reports, the return for Tampa Bay will be a 2025 7th round draft pick, and for the value Minnesota is getting back, this is a great deal for both teams.
The 33-year old is an NHL veteran, and while he doesn't produce as much on the score sheet as he once did, he brings invaluable experience to a team ready to make a deep playoff run in a move that could significantly help the Wild's playoff chances.
