In quite possibly the most unusual fashion, a goalie goal was recorded in the AHL tonight. Strauss Mann, the goaltender for the Canadiens affiliate, the Laval Rocket, has been credited with his first career goal.

Strauss Mann gets his first career AHL goal thanks to Cederqvist putting the puck into an empty net on a centering pass!
After pulling their own goalie to get an extra attacker on the ice, the Rochester Americans threw the puck all the way back into their own net by accident. Seeing as Mann was the last player on Laval to touch the puck before it went into the net, he was credited with the goal, marking a huge milestone for him.
Congrats to Strauss and Laval!
