BREAKING: Vegas Claims Recent 15th Overall Pick on Waivers

It was a massive surprise when Grigori Denisenko was placed on waivers. The one highly-touted prospect hasn't had the best development.

Still, he seemed to be a lock for the Panthers this year. Unfortunately, their risk waiving him did not pay off.

The reigning cup champion Vegas Golden Knights have claimed Grigori Denisenko.

He will immediately become one of their best prospects, and due to NHL rules he will be on their opening night roster.

It will be interesting to see how Denisenko does in his new town.
