The Minnesota Wild have just announced that they have extended Ryan Hartman to a 3-year deal.
Hartman scored 37 points last season in 59 games centering Kirill Kaprizov and Mats Zuccarello.
While he may not be the best first-line center in the NHL, Hartman is more than serviceable in the role and if the Wild bring in somebody with a bit more pedigree, paying Hartman $4 million to be their second-line center is still a bargain.
