After staying mostly stagnant for four years, we will get a massive increase.
Per NHL commissioner Gary Bettman himself, the NHL will be raising the salary cap somewhere between 87 and 88 million dollars.
This will mark an increase of about four million from its current $83.5M.
This will allow teams more flexibility, something GM's are sure to appreciate.
