BREAKING: Teams Mysteriously Pass On Two Top Prospects

The Ottawa Senators took a massive risk by placing two top picks on waivers yesterday. Somehow, it paid off.

2018 1st rounder and 2020 2nd rounder Jacob Bernard-Docker and Egor Sokolov were almost certain to be claimed due to their pedigree as high picks.

After the Senators lost 2019 1st rounder Lassi Thomson to waivers, it appears teams showed them mercy.

We will see how these two prospects continue to progress on the Senators organization.
