BREAKING: Young First-Round Pick Officially Placed on Waivers
The Ottawa Senators, after losing their 2019 first-rounder Lassi Thomson to waivers Monday, have taken another hit.
Waiving two more of their best prospects, 2018 first-round pick Jacob Bernard-Docker, and 2020 second-rounder Egor Sokolov, they've now emptied out their pool.
Senators Likely to Lose Another Top Prospect
Both Bernard-Docker and Sokolov are likely to be claimed, as they have top-pick pedigree and lots of potential.
Bernard-Docker, a RD, is a coveted piece. Sokolov has a big frame and exceeded expectations in the AHL last year.
It is almost certain the Senators will see two more big names leave the organization at 2:00 tomorrow.
