A new report from Frank Seravalli of Daily Faceoff confirms terrible news for the Colorado Avalanche.
Key Player Still Dealing With Injury
According to the new report from Frank Seravalli,
Pavel Francouz is still suffering from an adductor injury he sustained last season and had surgery for over the offseason. Francouz was limited to 16 games in 2022-23 with the Avs.
This injury is just the latest in bad luck with the injury bug for the Avalanche. Other key players like
Gabriel Landeskog and
Bowen Byram have had recurrent lingering injuries over the last two seasons.
Seravalli also confirms that with Francouz out the Avalanche are searching for a replacement on the trade market. While no names are attached at the moment look out for Colorado to make a move sooner rather than later.
