Last offseason, Vitali Kravstov left the NHL to play in the KHL and regain confidence. Five games into the season, it seemed like he was doing that posting five points but things took a sharp turn after an opponent laid a brutal hit on him.
It was confirmed that Kravstov will miss 4-6 weeks due to this injury.
Kravstov's rights are currently held by the Vancouver Canucks and if he is able to prove himself in the KHL, he could return to the NHL as a top-six forward.
